What is Parging?
A parget is a cover for an external brick wall made of plaster or mortar that typically bears an ornamental or decorative pattern. Parging is a construction technique used to finish the surface of masonry walls. It can be installed over new or existing walls and can be used in both residential and commercial applications.
Most parging mixtures are made from a blend of lime, common cement, water and masonry cement. Parging can often be completed in a single work day, but certain jobs will take longer.
